About Us
The Old Carolian Lodge was formed from past students and members of the King Charles 1st coeducational school in Kidderminster in 1958.
The school was founded in around 1566 by Thomas Blount, Lord Mayor of Kidderminster and was granted a royal charter in 1636 by King Charles 1st.
It’s motto is “Rising achievements through engagements” and todays school is a specialist science college, that still puts their students at the heart of everything.
We’re proud to support local nonprofit organizations towards positive change in our society!
Inside the Lodge
Our lodge rooms were completed in 2012 and were constructed by our own Masons, coming together from all disciplines of the building and allied trades.
The two main builders were and still are, we are very proud to say, Brethren of this lodge who along with many other skilled Brethren worked long and arduous hours to complete this beautiful temple.
The Old Carolian Lodge is also the “Mother Lodge” of our Provincial Grand Master, a fact of which we are tremendously proud.

Leisure Time
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy so they say! Which is why we also try to enjoy as many social events together as possible, and most important is ensuring our new initiates are foremost on our guest lists.
